DIY Paper Mache Elf Ears for Christmas
Paper Mache is a really inexpensive way to decorate for the holidays and a quick craft you can do with your kids over the holidays.
If this is your first time working with paper mache you will find it is very easy and rewarding. This craft is great for any age group and perfect for beginners.
How 2 Paper Mache Elf Ears
1. Cut your recycled cardboard into the desired ear shape and tape onto your headband. I picked up 3 bands for a dollar to experiment.

2. Cover your band with one layer of paper mache strips. Cover your ears with two layers of strips and apply extra at points of contact between the ears and band.
Let these newspaper strips completely dry before painting.
3. You are ready to decorate your Christmas Elf Ears anyway you like.
Use acrylic paints.
4. Seal your Elf headband with a clear varnish to protect them.
