Area 61 Gallery and Showroom in Chattanooga, Tennessee
Area 61 Gallery was founded April 2009 by three Chattanooga local wood craftsmen, David Crewe, Rudd Montgomery and Phil Timm, area 61 is a collective retail space for Chattanooga artists and craftsmen to showcase and sell their work between Chattanooga art festivals and openings.
They genuinely have a heart to share ART with all of Chattanooga locals and the millions of visitors that travel through yearly. Their mission statement “The Art is Out There and Seeing is Believing”.
Area 61 is a member of the local ava, association for visual arts, the mission at AVA is to promote, advocate, and support original visual art and artists.
Area 61 Gallery is located in the heart of Chattanooga Southside at 61 E. Main St. between Bluegrass Grill and Green Spaces. The Gallery is open to the public Wednesday through Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm, Eastern Standard Time. You can call the Gallery with any questions or concerns at 423.648.9367
